Wagner Park - Aspen
Encompassed by Durant St, Monarch St, and Cooper St Mall, this park is one of the most popular places to socialize your dog. Many locals call this "The dog park."
Rio Grande Park - Aspen
Along the Rio Grande river and Mill St at Rio Grande Pl, this is a great place to enjoy the grass and the rippling water. You will often find dogs here during lunch-time, enjoying a romp on their owner's lunch hour.
Marolt Open Space - Aspen
The roundabout pond is a lovely place for your water-loving dog and picturesque views for you to enjoy. From the roundabout take the Castle Creek exit, pass under the walking bridge and take the left to the gravel parking lot. There's a couple little bridges over the creek to get to the open space.
Paepcke Park - Aspen
"The park with the gazebo" you see as you come into town on Main St at Aspen St. Many dogs frequent this beautiful park as there is plenty of room to throw a ball or Frisbee!
Crown Mountain Park - Basalt
About 30 minutes from Aspen, in El Jebel, this park has it all. Your dogs can enjoy the trails, water, and fenced dog park, while the humans can picnic, monkey around on the playgrounds and ball fields, cruise the bike track and more.
Hendrick Park - Hendrick Dr. Carbondale

River Trail Dog Park - 1701 Riverside Ln Glenwood
Park behind the High School and take the trail to the left (stay left at the fork), dog park will be on your right. Some people park at 2001 Grand Ave. Walk between the Wendy's and old Safeway, over the railroad tracks to the trail, go right, park will be on your left.
Dogs strictly prohibited on the City of Aspen Golf Course, Cozy Point Ranch, North Star Open Space, and Maroon Creek Wetlands. Leash laws strictly enforced in downtown Aspen (especially the walking malls), Herron Park (including the wading pool), Hunter Creek Trail, Rio Grande Trail, Jennie Adair Wetlands, Marolt Wetlands (near housing), and the playing fields at school campus and Aspen Rec Center.
